Who are the Hoquiam Library Friends?
We are a non-profit support group working locally to help provide a full range of library services and resources in our community. We work with the library staff and Board of Trustees to promote the laudable goals and objectives of the Timberland Regional Library. Foremost among those objectives is to preserve and protect the intellectual freedom guaranteed to us in the First Amendment. The Hoquiam Library Friends do many things ...
- Conduct used book sales generating income for important library projects.
- Purchase unfunded items for use by the public.
- Underwrite special library programs for children, teens and adults.
- Organize educational and cultural programs at the library to benefit our community.
|
- Promote use of the library's services and materials.
- Serve as community advocates for continued support of the library.
- Voice the community's needs to the Hoquiam Library Board of Trustees.
- Support volunteerism on behalf of the library.
