New Library Hours - effective June 1, 2009
The Timberland libraries have had to reduce their operating hours to meet budget constraints. These are the new hours announced for the Hoquiam Library.

  • Monday   (closed)
  • Tuesday   10am - 7pm
  • Wednesday   10am - 7pm
  • Thursday   10am - 7pm
  • Friday   10am - 5pm
  • Saturday   10am - 4pm
  • Sunday   (closed)

Page Turners -- Book Discussion Group
The monthly book discussion group now meets 7:00 - 8:30pm on the first Tuesday of each month in the Hoquiam Library meeting room. These books have been selected for upcoming discussion groups:

  • January 6, 2009 - Life of Pi by Yann Martel
  • February 3, 2009 - True History of the Kelly Gang by Peter Carey
  • March 3, 2009 - The Worst Hard Time by Timothy Egan
  • April 7, 2009 - The Piano Tuner by Daniel Mason
  • May 5, 2009 - The Zookeeper's Wife by Diane Ackerman
  • June 2, 2009 - Help choose books for the next series of book discussions.
New participants are invited to join the group at any time!   Ask for a copy of the current month's book at the Reference desk.
